On Tuesday I headed to Just Hall pondering my freshman Seminar class and the reason I have to take it. I entered Just Hall auditorium and received a paper called "Mbongi". I soon realized everyday I will have to fill this out with every lecture and turn it in for a grade. Looking around I realized this was a large class with many students. Soon after many TA's passed out little slips of paper al around the auditorium with a particular name on each. I received my paper and read the name "Sherrill Berryman-Johnson". I soon had no connection or who the person was. Soon the teacher explained that Dr. Johnson was a well known Howard instructor. Soon I realized that I had to do some research and gather information pertaining to Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson was a great figure at Howard University and she impacted her students greatly. With more research I found that Dr. Johnson passed away few months before. Dr. Johnson was an art teacher at Howard University and she inspired many students with her paintings and her skill to teach others. I wrote this blog to acknowledge her great skills as an artist and her legacy that lives on today.
